چکیده
The quantity of biogas residues is continually increasing and causing a great threat to the environmental protection sustainable development bio-natural gas engineering. Thus, four (sewage sludge, SR; spent mushroom compost, MR; wheat straw, STR; distillers’ grains, DL) were collected prepare biochars at different temperatures (300 °C, 500 700 °C) in this study. functional groups, crystal structure, physical chemical properties characterized evaluate suitability preparing biochar from residues. results showed that yield ranged 45.13 66.42% 300 34.13 51.50% 30.33% 47.06% °C. carbon (C) content STR DL increased under higher temperatures. Further, with temperature, P K contents, pH, Brunauer–Emmett–Teller surface area (SBET), total pore volume (TPV) increased. groups decreased significantly, aromatic compounds decomposed. (except SR biochar) structures more stable high temperature. morphological structure °C was most stable. SBET 11.98- 33.43-fold compared And TPV 2.22 10.25 times STRB700 has SBET, because C–H bond stretching aliphatic formation C = hemicelluloses STRB relatively decomposed temperature °C), especially favourable smaller microporous.

Physicochemical and sorptive properties of biochars derived from woody and herbaceous biomass.
It is unclear how the properties of biochar control its ability to sorb metals. In this work, physicochemical properties of a variety of biochars, made from four types of feedstock at three pyrolysis temperatures (300, 450 and 600°C) were compared to their ability to sorb arsenic (As) and lead (Pb) in aqueous solutions. Experimental results showed that both feedstock types and pyrolysis tempera...
متن کاملPinpointing biphenyl dioxygenase residues that are crucial for substrate interaction.
Three regions of the biphenyl dioxygenase (BDO) of Burkholderia sp. strain LB400 have previously been shown to significantly influence the interaction between enzyme and substrates at the active site. For a further discrimination within these regions, we investigated the effects of 23 individual amino acid exchanges. The regiospecificity of substrate dioxygenation was used as a sensitive means ...

متن کاملWhy Believe That There Is a God?
This article presents an argument for the existence of God, showing that the evident phenomena are best explained by supposing that a God causes them. The argument is based on the inductive force of four very evident general phenomena: that there is a physical Universe; that it is governed by very simple natural laws; that those laws are such as to lead to the existence of human bodies; and tha...
متن کاملTemperature effect on microalgae: a crucial factor for outdoor production
High rate outdoor production units of microalgae can undergo temperature fluctuations. Seasonal temperature variations as well as more rapid daily fluctuations are liable to modify the growth conditions of microalgae and hence affect production efficiency. The effect of elevated temperatures, above optimal growth temperatures, on growth is seldom reported in literature, but often described as m...
